Pocket size your presentations

As I stated last week, I am in Maui enjoying a wonderful vacation.  I have had plenty of time to catch up on my reading, both for pleasure and for business.  In doing so, I have had the great good fortune to read about two products that I wish I had with me on this…

“We have met the enemy and he is us”…Pogo

Aloha and greetings from Kaanapali in Maui!  I am on vacation for the next few weeks so this will not be a long post, but I did want to tell you about the Pogo Stylus. If you are an iPhone or iTouch user and have bratwurst sized fingers, as I do, then you are likely…

Super charge your listing presentations

When I started in real estate in 1986, I wanted to work exclusively with buyers because I thought that was the best place for me to start, and in many ways it was.  But, the old timers that were in my office kept saying to me “You have to list to last”.  What they meant…

iPhone – expensive toy or real business tool?

I have had my iPhone for a little over 60 days now.  On July 11th I was one of the people who stood in line for hours for the privilege of forking over nearly $500 (when all was said and done with taxes, activation fees, pre-pays and accessories) to purchase an iPhone on “opening day”. …

While noodling around on Google the other day, I decided to see what tools Google has for real estate agents and ran across a page set up just to showcase the tools that Google offers us. Here is what I found: Countless home buyers use Google to browse for real estate information each month. Google…

Put the emotion back into your email communications!

In my opinion, one of the characteristics of a good real estate agent is the ability to listen to what their client/customer has to say and then to be able to translate that into action.  Equally important is the ability to communicate information back to the client/customer.  In the past we typically did that in…

Cool email backup tool

If you’ve got a business email account then you have an asset that needs to be protected.  What would happen if one day you logged on to your computer and opened up Outlook (or almost any other email client) and it did not open?  Or it opened but it couldn’t find your email? If you…
