Have you ever received an email from someone that contained a long link that broke across several lines? And then when you tried to click on it, it was broken. I sure have, and, I have even sent a few of those myself. Services have popped up all over the Internet to solve that problem…

Drop those business cards

I have become tired of carrying business cards around. So much so that I have no idea where my box of business cards are stored.  The whole concept of exchanging small bits of paper that ultimately end up in landfills bothers me, so I decided some time back to forgo the whole process. But, this…

6 cool websites to help your business

Did you ever have one of those days where all of your carefully crafted plans just flew out of the window? Today was such a day for me. I was planning on getting a number of things done that got put off because I was out of town all of last week, but a number…

Information overload solved!

I sift through an incredible amount of information every day. I read 4 blogs (ChrisBrogan, Mashable, LifeHacker, ProBlogger) on a daily basis, others from time to time.  I get e-newsletters from waay too many sources to list here on a daily basis, I read paper magazines about real estate and technology as they arrive, and…

Curing the Microsoft Outlook Blues

Wow!  It must be in the air or something!  In the past 5 days I have had no less than 5 requests for help on how to do various chores and tasks in Microsoft Outlook.  Normally I go for months without someone asking about Outlook, so this is a bit of a surprise. I thought…

Since that time I have posted 72 times on…

What happened? I can’t say for sure, but from…

A few things to do now to get your business started right now!

2008 is finally over and 2009 is here. The New Year has always felt like new opportunity for me. I always enter January with high hopes for the things that I want to accomplish in the year ahead and this year is no different. Many of you journeyed with me last year on my quest…

It’s been quite a year, hasn’t it?

With all that’s gone on this year, and as weary as we all are of current events, I hesitate to bring this topic up. But, I figure if I helped just one person save even one dollar, then it would be worth it. What am I talking about? Taxes, that’s what. We’ve just gone through…

Your gift to you

Got your shopping done yet?  Most people I talk to have gotten theirs done or most of the way done.  But, when I ask them what they got for themselves I get a blank look.  Apparently nobody thinks that they should get themselves a gift.  Well, let me offer a suggestion.  Go get yourself a…
