Merry Christmas! Happy Kwanzaa! Happy Chanukah!

This week (and next) I’m celebrating the holiday season so there won’t be a normal post. Instead I’ll be enjoying the season with my family. However you celebrate this time of year I want to wish you health, love and prosperity.

Easy way to plan your year

As we near the end of 2018, I like to look back and see if I accomplished everything that I set out to do this year. I like to look at personal accomplishments, relationship accomplishments and business accomplishments. Given that there are only 365 days in a year, it’s way too easy to see the…

Package Delivery Apps to Make Your Life Easier

It’s that time of year when many of us are doing our holiday shopping online.  The sheer number of packages being delivered is astonishing!  It’s amazing to me that anything actually gets where it is supposed to go! Packages arrive at my house form a variety of different shippers and are delivered by any number…

When was the last time you sent a personal note?

I’ve got a fun little app for you today.  It’s called Bond and it performs a simple task that we all need to do. What it does is create and mail handwritten notes for you.  I know, you can write your own notes, but how many do you actually do? Do you write notes to…

Every REALTOR® needs this research report!

Well it’s that time of year again.  If it’s early November, it means that it’s time for The National Association of REALTORS® to hold their annual convention. I rarely go to these, preferring to spend my convention “dollar” on attending events put on by my company, Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Drysdale Properties. But, one aspect of…

Five things to do now to thrive in a changing market

Depending on who you talk to, and where you are located, you are probably hearing that the market is flattening or at least changing. In my opinion, this is a regional phenomenon with some areas chugging along and others not so much. But for the sake of this post, let’s assume that your market has…

3 Old school client acquisition methods that still work (If you work them)

I am a big fan of using the latest technology in as many aspects of our business as possible!  From looking around this blog, you can tell that I am a technology fan, but it wasn’t always that way. I spent my entire first commission check on an IBM XT clone computer, a green screen…
