I’ve been thinking about where next year’s business is going to come from…have you been thinking about that too?
Since I do a LOT of reading to find things to post about in this blog, I often run across some ideas that are good, but that I don’t want to devote a whole blog post to explaining. That’s the case this week.
So, I am just going to pique your curiosity on a few things and let you click thorough to see what I found!
One of the things that I really think about is simply this: people will do one heck of a lot of research before they buy anything on line. Admit it, you Google cars, paint, appliances, phone or whatever it is that you are thinking of buying.
Guess what, home sellers and home buyers do the same thing before deciding to buy or sell. So, you need to be found in multiple places online and you need reviews or positive comments about your services.
- One of the places that gets largely overlooked to accomplish that is Facebook groups.

Here is what they have to say about Facebook Groups;
In this extended post, we’re going to go over every single thing you need to know about Facebook groups, including why you should be using them, how to create and maintain groups, best practices, and so much more.
One more thing about Facebook. In case you think that Facebook is passé these days, take a moment to check this out:

It’s an eye opener!
- Here is another great article. This one is focused on getting leads from people who want to sell their homes:

Here is what they have to say about this article:
If you’ve worked in real estate for more than 30 seconds, you’ve probably come to the (painful) realization that 1. you NEED seller leads to become a top producer, and 2. finding and converting seller leads is hard work.
First, you need to have a thick skin to handle rejection after rejection. Then, once you get your foot in the door, you’re going to need a rock-solid listing presentation if you want even a slight chance of getting the listing. Here are 12 ways to get more real estate seller leads.
- One more to wrap up. Given that Covid-19 protocols have made face to face, in person prospecting difficult, direct mail and email have become more important than ever.
Here is an article that will give you 6 prewritten email/direct mail templates that you can copy and customize. If you read to the end of the article, you will get some very potent tips on creating your own missives!

Here is what they have to say about the article:
Prospecting letters is the salesy-term used to describe letters sent to potential clients introducing you as an agent. These can be sent as emails; however, care and concern are the top qualities a buyer and seller want in their real estate agent, which are difficult traits to convey when you aren’t willing to risk the time and expense of using a stamp. Additionally, prospecting letters must contain an element of value in order to be effective.
We have created a number of example templates you can use to ensure you make a positive impression. That said, it is important to remember the market that we work in as real estate agents on a daily basis can be compared to a snowflake: No two are alike.
The letters that you send to a potential seller or buyer needs to adapt to the present market you are in.
Please keep in mind that the verbiage will need to be updated as the climate of the market and interest rates change. The following templates relate to the present economy in light of COVID-19 and record low interest rates.
So there you have it! I’ve given you a slew of ideas. The question is simple: What are you going to do with them?
