Voice Dictation for all of us!
I am a sucker for new apps on my iPhone and on my Macs, so when something catches my attention I usually get it. But, many times after trying it a few times I never go back to it! Consequently I am forever deleting unused apps on my phone!
I nearly got caught again by a notification about this wonderful new app that would allow me to speak into my phone and have my spoken words magically transformed into the written word that could then be emailed, printed, text messaged etc!
Wow! I was dazzled until i remembered that my iPhone will do that any way!
The Notes app on my phone is one that I use almost daily It keeps my passwords safe, it has lists of commonly used resources at work and much more. But, it also has the ability to take dictation and convert it into text! And I can send my completed notes anywhere as well as print them if I wish. So why would I need to another app? The answer: I don’t!
As it turns out, that dictation feature is also available on my Mac apps too!
So here are a few links from Apple that will tell you how to do this magical stuff!

If you aren’t a Mac User, have no fear, here is a guide to doing that on your Windows 10 PC:

And if you use an Android phone, I found a guide for you too: https://www.howtogeek.com/177387/use-voice-dictation-to-save-time-on-android-iphone-and-ipad/
(Note: I don’t use PCs/Windows 10 or Android phones, so I really can’t vouch from personal experience for either of those links.)
I personally still like to use a keyboard, but there have been times that I need to make a quick note about something and don’t have access to a keyboard, like when I am driving. In cases like that, voice dictation on my phone is a real blessing!
