2020 is nearly over! I think I am not alone in feeling like this year has been challenging and that I will be glad to have it behind me!
However, no one knows what 2021 will bring. Will it bring more of the same or will it bring new challenges? Who know?
What I do know is that if you are a real estate agent you will need to be adding to to your database and will also need to be nurturing those already in your database.

Get into the habit of Prospecting – You must find time every day to create at least 20 ways of reaching people.” Here are some ideas:
- Write at least five handwritten notes
- Write five comments on social media posts
- Send five text messages.
- Make five phone calls
Ask for business – We make the mistake of thinking that everyone already knows that we are in the real estate business. This couldn’t be farther from the truth! Ask if you can be of service to them with referrals to contractors, yard services etc. Maybe they need to get a valuation of their home. Ask!
Drive Around! – What is going on in your market area? Any garage sales, contractor trucks in front of houses, any other signs that someone might be moving? Go look around!
