Normally NAR charges members $19.95 to download this report and non-members $149.95, This year, members can get this report for free, so there went your last reason to not click on that link above! NAR has made it difficult to figure out exactly how to actually download the report, but if you log in first and then carefully follow the directions you will eventually get it! And NAR peeps, how about easing up on the arcane methods you use in the Store? If Amazon was this difficult to use they wouldn’t be where they are today!
Back to the point at hand, you actually want to get this report as soon as possible because it contains information that will help you decide how to plan for 2021. You’ll gain insight into who is buying, what they are buying, why they buy, how they find the houses that they buy and where you fit in to the process.
You’ll also learn the same types of information for sellers.
Finally, they take a look at the process both pre Covid and post Covid.
One thing that hasn’t changed much over the years that I have followed the report is the fact that the majority of buyers and sellers say that they would recommend their previous agents to their friends who wanted to buy or sell.
Yet when it came time for them to buy or sell, only a pitifully small number of them actually did so!
This tells me that we still have a lot of work to do to capture some of that business that is slipping through our fingers!
