Can you feel it? I’m asking you if you can feel the shift in our real estate market. I get different answers from different people in different markets, but the general consensus is that the market is changing in some degree or another.
I’m a big believer that you need to be on top of your game at all times because things can change overnight in this business,
Part of being at the top of your game is being ready to pivot in case the market should radically change.
I first wrote the following content in March of 2021. At that time we were starting to see light at the end of the Covid-19 tunnel and for most of us, the market was hot.
Fast forward to now and we find ourselves with rampant inflation, interest rates have more than doubled, there is a war in Europe and we still have supply chain issues. Add to that the election year jitters and you have a time of uncertainty.
So, it’s my belief that we all need to brush up on our sales skills. To that end, here are a whole lot of scripts for you to read, adapt and use to help you win in these times!
Many real estate agents believe they won’t sound good if they read from a script. While I agree you should never read from a script when talking with someone who may want to buy or sell a home, a script can greatly improve your results by preparing you with the best questions and lines to say and ask. So, just because of that, I am a big fan of scripts, as long as you adapt them to your style and practice the heck out of them before trying them out on someone!
To help you get started I’ve spent some time gathering more than 50 scripts from various sources for you. So, get a cup of coffee and spend some time looking at each of the links. You can copy the ones you like and ditch the rest!

Power house real estate trainer Brian Icenhower has a TON of useful info on his website, but for now, focus on his take on what scripts you should know about.

These guys sell a complete internet based prospecting platform. They also offer a bunch of free information including scripts for leaving a voice mail message when the person that you are calling doesn’t pick up!

This next site is aimed mainly at real estate investors, but there is plenty of content there for agents, too. zillow Premier Agent
OK, I hear you. It’s zillow. But, don’t be so hasty! I’m not advocating that you should spend your money there. Quite the opposite actually.
They do have some Free and awesome content for you. One of which is “10-Day Real Estate Lead Conversion Plan (Agent Scripts)”. They even give you a download too!
Hubspot
This company is a leader in the area of inbound marketing and they offer all sorts of tools (including a free CRM) to help sales people in all industries. Their article “The Ultimate Guide to Sales Scripts (With Examples)” is not real estate specific, but their examples are easily modified for real estate.
That’s it! I seriously doubt that you will run across a situation where you would be at a loss for words if you take the time to look at these scripts!
