I got to thinking about where consumers go to find information about homes that are for sale and came up with the usual suspects: zillow, Realtor.com, trulia and sites like Redfin.
If you take zillow out of the equation, Realtor.com is the top choice that isn’t zillow.
So, since you are a REALTOR®, you are entitled to have a free profile on Realtor.com.
If you haven’t set yours up yet or if it has been a while since you did set it up, you may want to follow along below to make sure that your profile is up to date and ready to work for you!
- Claim your profile: One of the first steps you should take is to claim your profile on Realtor.com. This will allow you to manage your listings and information on the site, and make it easier for potential clients to find you. - Create an agent profile: Once you have claimed your profile, you can create an agent profile that showcases your experience, skills, and expertise. This will help you stand out from other agents and attract potential clients. - Add MLS accounts: If you want to add or remove MLS accounts from your profile, you can contact Realtor.com customer support at (877) 309-3151. You will also need to enter your NAR membership information (NRDS ID) for your profile to appear in the “Find a Realtor” directory.
- Sign up for a professional dashboard: Since you are a U.S. agent with an active MLS membership, you can sign up for a professional dashboard on Realtor.com. This will give you access to various tools and features to manage your listings, track performance, and grow your business.
