As hard as it is to get new listings, I think an enterprising agent would want to take advantage of every possible tool.
And that goes double for the free tools!
Here is what you should do as soon as possible:
- Look at the profile/bio you have on your website. When was the last time you updated it? Is it lame? (Most are)
- What about your profile on Realtor.com and Zillow? Have you created profiles on those sites?
- Take whatever you find, run it through ChatGPT, and use this prompt:“I am a real estate agent. I have [fill in the number] years of experience successfully assisting home buyers and sellers in the following markets [list the cities you serve]. Please rewrite the following biography to make it attractive, not too salesy, and SEO optimized. Write it in a professionally friendly tone. [Paste your existing bio here]”Note: Delete the brackets after you fill in the desired info. Ask ChatGPT to lengthen or shorten the output as necessary. Ask it to rewrite if you don’t like the first attempt.
- Then, when you have something you like, paste it into Realtor.com and Zillow.
- Don’t neglect this. Both buyers and sellers look at these sites, so why would you not want to put your best foot forward on them?
Here are the links to set up profiles on Realtor.com and Zillow:

If you REALLY want to take advantage of the free low-hanging fruit, take what ChatGPT gave you and ask it to rewrite it for the profiles of your social media accounts! (Take the time to do a separate one for each account)
Then, put an entry in your Calendar for next year to review and update them all as necessary.
You can thank me later if you get a transaction because your profile motivated someone to contact you!
