The 2019 National Association of REALTORS ® convention has come and gone. Since it was in San Francisco this year I decided to attend and to tell the truth, I was glad that I did.
I ran into many old friends from across the country, made some new friends and attended a dozen or more interesting educational sessions.
There was also a very robust trade show with hundreds of exhibitors.
All of that is well and good, but the one thing that I look forward to every year is the release of the Profile of Home Buyers and Sellers. This comes out during the convention each year and I have been buying it every year for what seems like a decade or more.
From NAR, the following statements are made about the report:
This newly redesigned and updated profile includes:
- Who are today’s home buyers and sellers?
- Do they use the services of a real estate professional?
- What role does the internet play?
- Who are today’s aspiring buyers?
These questions and many more are answered in this newly released profile of home buyers and sellers. This valuable tool provides the answers in a user-friendly format, designed to allow easy comparisons with previous studies, using a mix of charts, graphs and tables.
Chapters Include:
- Characteristics of Home Buyers and Homes Purchased
- Home Buying and Selling and Real Estate Professionals
- The Home Search Process?Financing the Home Purchase
- For Sale By Owner Sellers
- Aspiring Buyers
