So much has been written about the benefit of using social media in general, and Facebook in particular, to generate leads that you may be weary of yet another such post. But, stick with me because I think you’ll find some real value in this one.
Almost everyone agrees that there is opportunity in Facebook. With over 1 Billion worldwide users, there HAS to be some business value. The trick has been in how to extract it! It boils down to two main ways of attracting attention to your value proposition.
The first is one that many would like to use, but can’t because of the time commitment.
The second is to use Facebook’s amazing ad targeting to run ads to find that ideal client. Many people don’t use this method because of cost or confusion on how to do it.
I ran across solutions to both of these methods at Inman Connect back in July, but today’s post will only deal with the first method. That method requires you to post engaging content on a frequent and regular basis. Once you post it and start getting responses, you have to engage with people and draw them into your value proposition.
The real time consuming part of this method is finding and preparing something to post, a process which can take hours to do well. Two companies that provide this as a service were exhibitors there and I was able to spend enough time with the owners of both companies that I feel comfortable in telling you about them.
First up is PostDazzle, a Southern California company run by a Mother and Daughter team. They used their system to catapult a non-profit organization to National prominence. The company was founded by a top producing real estate agent, so they do understand our business.
They offer two options for you to choose from. Both are fee based subscription models, but there are no contracts, you can start and stop as you wish. The standard plan has them providing 60+ pieces of curated, ready-to-post content that’s SOCIAL, relevant, attention grabbing, & designed to start conversation.” The Premium plan provides “Everything in the Standard Plan, + we personally post quality, SOCIAL content for you-twice DAlLY-saving you the most time. All you’ll do is log in and engage with your clients-the fun part!”
Their website also has a wealth of tips on how to use social media effectively as a lead gen system.
The next company that I found was Social for Real Estate. This company also provides pre written and formatted content for you to post. They are based in San Jose, California and were founded by someone who has been doing copywriting for many years.
Their content includes pictures, articles, links to shareable content and posts that are formatted for Twitter as well as Facebook. They also have a wealth of information on their website that will help you to understand how to effectively use social media to generate leads for your real estate business.
In both cases, though, YOU’LL need to engage with the people who comment and interact with the content that gets posted. Otherwise it will all be in vain!
Go check them out and see which one you like the best and give them a try. What have you got to lose?
