As I write this it is December 26th, 2014. I have spent much of the day today thinking about business planning for real estate agents. My thought process has pointed me in the direction of searching for resources that I could tell you about.
My original plan was to compile a list of resources that you could use to help you look at past performance, set goals for next year, and then determine ways to reach those goals.
My research finally landed me on a blog by a fellow real estate trainer, Jan O’Brien. Jan works in Nevada for a real estate firm and has assembled a fantastic resource for agents on her blog.
But what sticks out for me is the article on real estate agent business planning and goal setting at : http://www.janobrien.com/real-estate-agent-business-planning.html.
This article lays out a good plan but also links to tons of resources that you can use to help you create a precise road map to success in 2015,
As I looked around her site I discovered that Jan flew Blackhawk Helicopters as an Army officer. That was no easy task, so I knew that she must be able to set goals and then achieve them. It’s no secret to any one who knows me that I am partial to former military people, having served in the U.S. Marines in Viet Nam in the late 60’s. Military folks know how to get it done, often under adverse circumstances.
So, if you are looking to create a business plan for yourself for 2015, why not spend an afternoon with Jan at http://www.janobrien.com/real-estate-agent-business-planning.html?
