Here we are in the final quarter of the wild circus known as 2020!
I hope that you have been having a good year in your business in spite of all that has gone on and is going on!
Here in Contra Costa County, we have FINALLY been allowed to have indoor church/temple/mosque services and the same for indoor restaurants.
No word on whether or not we can resume traditional open houses any time soon.
Between, Covid-19, the many fires in California, the riots, the Presidential election and who knows what else is in store for us (Seems like we are due for a plague of locusts!) I hate to add one more thing to your burdens, BUT, it is time to start planning for 2021.
Towards that end, I have found a few resources to help you plan next year.
First up is a very nice marketing planner from real estate marketing company ProspectsPlus. They are offering “The Real Estate Marketing Planner” for free. All you need to do is to give them your name and email address to be able to download a nice PDF.
Since they are in the business of selling postcards, flyers, door hangers, etc. you might expect that their advice is slanted in that direction. But, even if you don’t choose to purchase their products, the planner will serve to get your creative juices flowing. Check it out here: https://blog.prospectsplus.com/schedule/
Next, Placester offers “The Ultimate Guide to Creating a Real Estate Business Plan + Free Template”.
After a quick review of what’s there, I have to say that it is probably the most detailed business planning resource that I have ever encountered! But, I never did locate the free template they promised! Don’t let that discourage you from looking because there are a few little known gems there that will help you figure out your direction for 2021. You can check it out here: https://placester.com/real-estate-marketing-academy/real-estate-business-plan-template
Last, one of my all time favorite real estate websites, TheClose offers “9 Steps to Writing a Real Estate Business Plan + Free Templates”.
This is another great resource on business planning and this time I was able to locate the free templates that they promise! After you look at this: https://theclose.com/real-estate-business-plan/, spend some time poking around the web site as they have a ton of really good info on Agent Basics, Marketing, Lead Generation and Technology.
You can easily lose a day looking at all they have on offer!
So, in these final months of the horror show known as 2020, why not take some time to get started on figuring out how you are going to absolutely crush it in 2021?
