You may know that I teach a course for the California Graduate Realtor Institute entitled “Money Making Strategies for Success” (I co-authored the most recent revision). Invariably in each class I get the question “Which software should I use to track my clients and manage my contacts?”. My answer has always been that there is no really wonderful software package available that met my 3 phase criteria of ease of use, low cost and functionality.
Of course there are products available that met one or two of my requirements, but there hasn’t been anything that nailed all three. Until just recently.
RealtyJuggler, the cloud based Customer Relations Management (CRM) software made by RealOrganized, Inc was recently updated to become the one company that meets all of my criteria.
I know that there are many real estate agents who would describe themselves as technically proficient, but the reality is that most are not. So, having a software product that does not require an engineering degree in order to really use it well, is key to it’s adoption by the majority of agents. This system is drop dead easy to use. When you log in you are presented with a grid of 24 icons representing such common tasks as Contacts, Calendar, Prospects, Buyers, Listings, Closings, Rentals, Homes, Lockboxes, Income, Expenses, Goals, CMA, email, Flyers and much more. When clicked each one opens up an easy to understand section of the program. But, if you get stymied, there is also a section containing YouTube video tutorials…47 of them in fact. RealtyJuggler nails my ease of use criteria better than any other real estate CRM that I have seen.
Moving on to the next criteria, it will run on ANY internet equipped computer that uses a modern web browser and also on iPhones, iPads, Androids and even Blackberry.
It will also sync your contacts and calendar with Google Aps as well as Outlook. That pretty much covers the functionality portion of my criteria.
That just leaves low cost. I think they nail that one too. To start with they offer a 90 day free trial. This is a true free trial in that no credit card is required in order to start. You just give them some info about you and you’re good to go. Once the 90 days is up, if you like it you pay a flat $99.00 per year. They promise that price is fixed for the life of your account and will never be raised.

The Gold Standard is TopProducer. Having said that, I know agents that use ACT! Goldmine and Salesforce. They all do much the same thing with different levels of functionality and complexity.
