There are any number of good ways to reduce unwanted junk mail from our email inboxes. Most of which work very well. But, I have never found a really good and easy way to reduce the amount of paper junk mail that I get at home.
Recently I ran across a new company, PaperKarma, that proposes a novel solution to reducing the amount of paper junk mail that arrives…using your iPhone, Android or Windows smart phone!
Here is how it works. You download the free app from iTunes, Google Play or the Windows app store and install it on your phone. You can sign up by using Facebook or by entering your name, email address and your phone number. You then agree to the terms of service.
After that is done you use the app to snap a picture of the unwanted junk mail you receive. The app send the picture to PaperKarma and they take care of having your name removed from the sender’s mailing list!
Pretty cool in my opinion. What do you think?
