ProxioPro provides the power to promote!
Posted by Jerry Kidd under: Cool Freebies; Sales Tips .
You say that you have a listing that isn’t selling? And the seller wants to know what innovative thing you are going to do next? And a price reduction just isn’t in the cards?
Well, bunky, I may have an answer for you. I just became aware of a new property search web site with International reach. In fact, it’s just now gaining traction in the US after having been used in Europe and other parts of the globe. Our weak dollar, climbing inventories and moribund economy may be stifling domestic buyers, but it’s music to the ears of International investors. For them the US looks like one gigantic yard sale!
Some of you may already be attracting International buyers through your web site activities, but how do you reach the foreign real estate agent who may be representing a stable of investors?
This is where ProxioPro comes in. This is a FREE service to agents, brokers and agencies, that facilitates networking between real estate professionals around the world. Using the web site is fairly straight forward. You register yourself, or your office or company, and then upload your listings. Once you have done that, the site encourages you to start creating relationships with other professionals around the globe so that if they have buyers for your properties you will be able to show them the details of your listings.
Here is what they have to say about themselves…straight from their website:
Every real estate company, everywhere on earth, can use more clients, more inventory, more sales.Connect with ProxioPro, to give your business international exposure and an added boost!ProxioPro gives you an easy way to build a trusted network of agencies or agents around the world who can send you referrals, sell your listings, or let you know about a property that is right for your clients. We display information about your properties in 6 languages, to make it even easier.Unlike other networks, ProxioPro puts you in charge of who you share with and what you share. So start building your trusted network – starting here and now! |
What keeps this from being a true multiple listing service is that NONE of the listing details that identifies the property is available for public view. If you conduct a search using ProxioPro, the search results page merely shows the basic facts about the property such as building and lot size and room count along with a link to the listing agency or agent.
If you click on that link you are able to view the contact info for the listing agent/agency and from there make contact. This keeps control of the listing in the hands of the listing agent and avoids any issues with our existing MLS regulations.
When I joined and checked out the site, there were about 5,000 US listings, with the majority in Florida. This seems like a great opportunity to maximize the exposure of your listing to an international audience just because there are so few listings there now.
After reading the legal documents and terms of use on the site, it appears that ProxioPro is based in Palo Alto, California.
Who knows whether or not ProxioPro will actually be able to match international real estate agents with you or not, but what if the buyer for your stagnant listing comes to you because you took 30 minutes to check this out and join? Wouldn’t that be cool, and wouldn’t you be the hero to your sellers?
